Re: [Xylo-SDR] Interesting Board I ran Accross

Interesting concept I was actually thinking of doing something with an
Embedded UNIX and this fits with some of my Wish List of thing to try.
Let me think out loud a bit so, if it sounds OT for the goals of this
project just flat out ignore it.
I was just looking at this old now defunct project
http://tuxscreen.net/wiki/view/TuxScreen and thinking wouldn't that be neat
if it was a Software Radio. Touch Screen or optional Keyboard (say for
digital work?) maybe some knobs for or at leasst one for digital tuner (old
style stuff make people feel comfortable) and here I find this project which
has some ingredients I have looking for. I like the idea of programming for
an operating system. I also prefer a hand held or table top item that
doesn't require a PC attached (make it optional) and this way it has some
potential as a portable. Oh I also like the free development tools as some
of this FPGA dev software will kill my yearly budgeting for software
development tools I will likely end up upgrading my MSDN Subscription
eventually.....

Later on and Happy New Year.
