Editing under your user ID
Dave - I think it is a great idea that you have started editing using your user login; that gives you credit for your contributions. It will also reduce the use of the WikiSysop ID which I think is off-putting to 'normal' users. Regards, Richard Ames, VK2NRA 21:33, 15 August 2009 (UTC)
Photos uploaded that can't be used
Dave, I inadvertently Uploaded 7 Photos that can't be used because the name has a space embedded in it. Is there a way to clear out the orphans? Most of them start with "Antec ####" and one starts with 'IMG ####". They were uploaded last night at 00:39 to 1:00 UTC. Thanks,--Ron Cox, W9KFB 06:57, 16 August 2009 (UTC)
Moving Pages OZYII / METIS
Dave, When you created a new page for METIS you lost the edit history and discussion pages that were part of the OZYII article. A better way of doing this would have been to move the page... that preserves the talk pages and article history. I have edited the OZYII page so that people will be redirected to the METIS page.
You may choose to improve my solution by moving the old OZYII page over the new METIS page. The process for doing this would be:
- Undo my edit to the OZYII page which added the REDIRECT. To do this go here and click the undo link.
- Move the OZYII page over the existing METIS page. See the instructions here and specifically here.
