Should of read first. Yes, I’ll have
to find the resource, but there is a tiny open frame supply like that, can’t
remember where I sar it.
However, if we go with garbage picking, we
might get an award for being Green folks.

Supply
Ah, but ATX supplies are so cheap. Some are extremely noisy, and others
are very quiet. They also come in a variety of power and physical sizes.
I have also seen at surplus places, power supplies with the standard +5, +-12
with modest power in very small sizes for cheap prices.
At work we mostly the PC's every three years, we are constantly throwing out
power supplies that are perfectly fine, you can only keep so many spares! :-)

Nice article! Thanks.
Although a little large, and having more connections than we need, atx
connector could be done on back of board. It more or less mandates an ATX
supply, although the exterprising person could just hack an ATX plug off a
power supply and connect the proper voltages off a non atx supply.

motherboard?

I fail to see why doing the same thing over and over and getting the same
results every time is insanity: I've almost proved it isn't; only a few more
tests now and I'm sure results will differ this time ...
