+ | :Dave, I agree that what you say should be a quantifiable difference, I have made systems both ways and not noticed any difference using the Antec power supplies. We now have three systems running on the Antec Power supply without the LPU: W9KFB in Indy, N6AS in Salinas, CA, and WA1EYP in Merrimack, New Hampshire. I have a system running on the LPU here in Indy so I can measure the difference if I only knew where to look. PC Power Supply
While the HPSDR boards can be run of a PC Power Supply, a cleaner power supply is needed for the best performance, LPU kit is a interface boards for a standard ham 12 volt power supply. DEMETER is design to be a more full featured power supply.
