Hermes - A DUC/DDC Transceiver
Project Leader: Kevin M0KHZ
Building on the success of Penelope and Mercury, Hermes will combine to two functions onto a single board to produce an HF (160-6m) Digital Down Conversion – Digital Up Conversion Transceiver.
Potential features at the moment include:
- IDC Header to enable the use of the Alex HPF/LPF board
- Onboard 10MHz TCXO with provision for an external input also
- A Pennywhistle type of amplifier with 15w output
- Microphone, headset, loudspeaker connections
- 13.5v DC input
- Open collector outputs for external relay/equipment control
- Euro- card size PCB (160mm x 100mm)
