Thanks Leon, there are significant differences between the "PS" "prototype
samples" and the final production chips. I couldn't get the SPI interface to 
work at all, no data. If you do, please let me know how :-)


3. Module: SPI

The SPI1 and SPI2 modules will not function as

specified for the following values of the CKP

(SPIxCON1<6>) and the CKE (SPIxCON1<8>)

bits:

. CKP = 0, CKE = 1

. CKP = 1, CKE = 1

. CKP = 1, CKE = 0



I've extracted the SPI stuff rrom the errata.
