Re: [Xylo-SDR] Latest S3 ADC schematic
Leon
Well, it seems like you are in the high professional category with the CAD
stuff. I'm willing to spend a 'little' $ to conform to the group, but would
rather put the $ towards hardware.
Yep it is the 320 for transmit functions the 4202 for receive. Here is the
poop on the TI stuff under consideration.
PCM4202 adc general info

PCM4202 Data Sheet

TLV320AIC23B codec general info

TLV320AIC23B Data Sheet

I look forward to seeing you, Ahti, Sami and others on Saturdays. Even
though we might have slightly different objectives in the long run (SDR-100
vs Standalone radio etc) it looks like the expertise assembled under this
Xylo-FPGA banner will help each effort.
Thanks
Eric

I use Pulsonix:
http://www.pulsonix.com
It's rather expensive, but cheaper than Protel, OrCAD etc. It's also much
easier to use than competitive products. It can import designs from most of
the other packages. The free demo (100 pin limit) can be used for viewing
designs.

Is that the TLV320AIC23B?
Also, TI is very helpful with free samples. I'll be ordering some 16-bit
codecs to use with the dsPIC from RS. I've designed a simple dsPIC board
with a mono codec, but a stereo one would be nice.

OK, I'll put that into my PDA to remind me with an alarm.
