Thanks for taking this up!  Just one question, one of the nice features of
the Xylo board is the support software i.e. FPGAconf.exe. This makes
programming the FPGA, using I2C , loading USB drivers on the PC etc very
easy for beginners like me. We also don't need to program the FX2 to do any
of this.

I know that Phil C is look  at using LibUSB
http://libusb-win32.sourceforge.net/
as an alternative. What I am getting round to is are we going to be able to
get equivalent software for the Cyclone II board?

It does mean that equivalent code will need to be developed.
