I still like the 100 x 100 mm. Rather than the 100 x 80. Henceforth will
'talk' metric only.
Reference in following discussion is with buss connector at top of drawing.
Place this prototyping area to the right front margin of the board.
Front panel components can be started at the left front margin and progress
towards the left, with as much of the left front for prototype connectors
and components to the rear.
In fact I suggest this for ANY of the boards which might be produced. If
others will concur.
Fill the left front of any project board with project prototyping space.
i.e. use left front space for playing and OhOh's!

If we are actually going with the 4x4" size (or is it 100x100mm???),
you will have plenty of extra board area on the Cyclone II board.
Please consider putting in a maybe 2"x4" "kludge" area on the board
for prototyping. The PCB pattern would be the same as they use on the
eurocard prototyping cards.
