You got the gift! When everyone forgets, I was there on Teamspeak, and the
forum when you suggested SoftRock!!! Way to go...  Hocum you are NOT in
marketing? I think we are naming everything.... project, group and spinoffs

I LOVE Waveformeater! LOL!

This stuff is proly why you r leading the "Dead Bug movement" ... (I had to
explain that term to my intern today!)

Keep raising the bar!

As for the 'marketing group' we'll have none of the ->
"FPGA-EG-2006-SDRFlex"

{The FPGA stands for Field Programmable Gate Array
	The EG stands for "Experimenters Group"
	The 2006 stands for the year we started
	The SDR Flex stands for Software defined radio - and Flex Radio from
whence most of us came }

It is easily parsable but just doesn't cut it! Your stuff does! "Low mean RF
eatin' machine!"

I'm on your and Phil's side!

We needa outside judge for this reason..

I'd second Phil's comments -- this thing is likely to be used for more than 
SDR 1000 things (I hope)  and tying it to a particular manufacturer/SDR 
implementation is probably a bad thing

Are we naming this board or the group/project in general?

Some ideas for names, some for the group, some for what we hope to 
build:   Don't care for many of these (there's a reason I don't work in 
marketing) but 'tis what came to mind.

For what we hope to build:

SpectrumSlurper
RadioIO
RFIO
RFBlaster
RadioBlaster
WaveformEater

For the current IO board:
Modem Radio Experimenters Board
Not Your Father's Ham Radio Board
21st Century Ham Radio Board
FPGA assisted SDR

For the group:

Homebrew SDR
DIY SDR
SDR4FUN
